We have several opportunities this month to get on the air, spend time together, and stay connected with regional emergency communications activity.
The newest addition is the Regional Traffic Net operated by the Brazos RACES team from RELLIS. It is open to all amateur radio operators, and I encourage our members to listen in or participate as schedules allow.

What’s New
Regional Traffic Net Added
The Brazos RACES team has established a recurring Regional Traffic Net from RELLIS. The net is open to all amateur radio operators and meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
443.425 MHz | PL 127.3 Hz
The ARES website has been updated with the new net information and schedule.
Verify KD5DLW in Your Radio
Take five minutes to confirm that KD5DLW is programmed for 443.425 MHz with a +5 MHz offset and a PL tone of 127.3 Hz. This channel supports both our monthly ARES net and the new Regional Traffic Net.
